Director: Access Partnership, Asia
May-Ann is a Director at Access Partnership, and concurrently the Executive Director of the Asia Cloud Computing Association. She has extensive experience in public policy, tech policy development, and government relations communications across the Asia Pacific, and has worked with many global, regional, and local organisations such as APEC, ASEAN, and the Asia Internet Coalition (AIC), on thought leadership development, government outreach and stakeholder engagement efforts.
May-Ann currently sits on the World Economic Forum (WEF) Digital ASEAN e-Payments Task Force and oversees all digital finance/ payments work at Access Partnership. May-Ann is also a member of the WEF Global Future Council for Human Rights, serves as an Exco member for the Internet Society (ISOC) Singapore Chapter, and is co-convener of the Young Leaders’ Programme Singapore (YLP SG). Always supportive of the innovation economy and entrepreneurship, she is also a mentor with the Faircap Angels Myanmar Investment Network, which helps high-potential entrepreneurs with access to funding and business mentorship.
May-Ann’s career has spanned several global, regional and local institutions, including the World Bank, World Vision, the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA), and the Singapore Internet Project. Through the years, she has worked in multiple markets lobbying for the acceleration of ICT and cloud industries, and other Internet adoption policies. May-Ann has a master’s in mass communication from Nanyang Technological University.
